Spa & Wellness

Moana Lani Spa, a Heavenly Spa by Westin, is the only oceanfront spa in Waikiki. The spa offers 9 custom massage therapy rooms, 1 Vichy shower room, 3 custom facial rooms, 2 couples treatment suites, and a nail salon. Guests also have access to an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center with Peloton bicycles, and a hot tub/Jacuzzi.

Rooms

The hotel offers rooms and suites in three wings: the Historic Banyan Wing, the Tower Wing, and the Diamond Wing. Banyan Wing rooms are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and feature ocean or city views from private balconies. Tower rooms provide stunning views of Diamond Head and the ocean, while the Diamond Wing offers larger guest rooms.

Dining

Beachhouse At The Moana serves dinner nightly with Victorian architecture and ocean views, featuring steaks, seafood, and island-inspired cuisine. Veranda At The Beachhouse offers breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea overlooking the beach. Vintage 1901 provides a stellar wine collection and savory bites for wine lovers.

Location & Activities

Waikiki Beach is a 1-minute walk from the resort, with 600 feet of private shoreline. International Market Place is also a 1-minute walk away, and Iolani Palace is nearby. Guests can arrange snorkeling, scuba diving, parasailing, catamaran sails, canoe rides, and surfing lessons through the concierge desk.

Cultural & Historical Significance

The Moana Surfrider opened in 1901 as the first hotel in Waikiki and is a 2023 Historic Hotels of America Awards of Excellence Winner. Daily cultural activities include hula lessons, historic hotel tours, and traditional Hawaiian ceremonies. The hotel was ranked #7 Best Resort in Hawaii in 2024.
